Ah well, you know what they say, if you want a job done right, you\u2019ve got to do it yourself!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>S\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Start the creative juices flowing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Pick a topic.<\/li>\n<li>Who will your audience be?<\/li>\n<li>Brainstorm ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any necessary research.<\/li>\n<li>Create a rough outline to help your ideas flow smoothly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<strong>W\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Write.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Turn your outline into sentences and paragraphs in your own words.<\/li>\n<li>Read what you wrote. Does it say what you intended?<\/li>\n<li>Show it to others and ask for feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0E\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Evaluate your writing to make it better.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Reread what you wrote.<\/li>\n<li>Consider the feedback you got from others.<\/li>\n<li>Rearrange words, sentences or paragraphs so that ideas flow smoothly.<\/li>\n<li>Take out any parts that don\u2019t serve a purpose to your ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Add more content where it is needed to improve clarity.<\/li>\n<li>Replace any overused words.<\/li>\n<li>Read what you wrote aloud. Does it sound right?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0E\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Edit for grammar, spelling and style.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Be sure all sentences are complete.<\/li>\n<li>Correct any spelling or grammar mistakes. (Computer spell\/grammar checkers are great tools. Use them!)<\/li>\n<li>Run it past another set of eyes. It\u2019s easy to read past your own mistakes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><strong>P\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Put it out there for others.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Post your writing on an online blog, forum or social media site.<\/li>\n<li>Create a book of your own.<\/li>\n<li>Send a copy to a friend or relative.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with an artistic friend to illustrate your creation or put it to music.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/steffaniskitchen.com\/skblog\/clean-up-your-writing-in-a-single-sweep\/write-on\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-328\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-328\" alt=\"Write On\" src=\"http:\/\/steffaniskitchen.com\/skblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Write-On-230x300.jpg\" width=\"138\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/steffaniskitchen.com\/skblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Write-On-230x300.jpg 230w, https:\/\/steffaniskitchen.com\/skblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Write-On.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 138px) 100vw, 138px\" \/><\/a>Keep this process in mind every time you face a writing task, no matter how small. By the time this process becomes a habit, you will have turned into an effective writer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stay tuned, budding writers.
