Taco Salad

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 Head Iceburg Lettuce
1 Tomato, Chopped
4-6 Ounces Grated Cheddar Cheese
6 Ounces Cool Ranch Doritos, Crumbled
1 Pound Ground Beef
1 Package Taco Seasoning
6 Tablespoons Sour Cream
DIRECTIONS:
Brown ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions. Divide cooked and seasoned beef into two equal portions. Refrigerate or freeze one half for later use.
While ground beef is cooking, tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces into a large salad or mixing bowl. Add chopped tomato, grated cheese and crumbled Doritos. Toss to mix well.
Add sour cream and seasoned beef while still hot. Toss and serve.
NOTE: All proportions in this recipe are subject to personal taste. Adjust the amounts as desired. If you like more crunch, add more Doritos.
