Creamed Dried Beef

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 Pound Dried Beef
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Stalk Celery, Finely Diced
3 Tablespoons Flour
2 Cups Milk
1/16 Teaspoon Pepper
DIRECTIONS:
"Cut beef in ribbons. Melt butter in 9"" skillet, add beef and celery, and saute about 7 minutes until beef is lightly browned. Sprinkle flour over beef mixture and stir until flour is blended smoothly with margarine. Add the milk gradually, stirring to keep smooth, then add pepper and cook over low heat until mixture boils and thickens."
