Herbed Garlic Bread
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 Cup Butter, At Room Temperature
2 Cloves Garlic
Pinch Salt
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Parsley Leaves, Chopped
2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil Leaves, Choppped
Kosher Salt
Black Pepper, Freshly Ground
1 Loaf Crusty Baguette
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mash the garlic to a paste with a pinch of salt and extra-virgin olive oil.
For the bread, stir together the butter, mashed garlic and herbs in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper.
Split the loaf of bread lengthwise. Spread the herb-garlic mixture over both halves. Bake for 15 minutes, or a little less for less crispy bread.
