Clam Chowder

INGREDIENTS:
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Green Pepper, Diced
1 Large Onion, Sliced
2 Tablespoons Flour
Salt
Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Thyme
Dash Hot Sauce
1-2 Cans Minced Clams With Liquid
3 Tomatoes
2 Cups Milk
Baking Soda
DIRECTIONS:
Saute onion and green pepper in butter. Blend in flour, salt, pepper, thyme, and hot sauce to form a smooth paste. Stir in clams and tomatoes. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer 20 minutes. Add a pinch of baking soda and milk.
