Stuffed Dates
INGREDIENTS:
1 Pound Dried Dates
8 Ounces Almond Paste
1 Cup Coconut
Sugar
1/4 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1/4 Cup Maraschino Cherries, Chopped
DIRECTIONS:
Combine almond paste, coconut, corn syrup, and cherries. Mix well. Make a lengthwise slit in each date. Fill each with about 2 t. almond paste mixture. Roll in sugar. Refrigerate.
