Green Pepper Brown Rice


INGREDIENTS:

2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Cup Green Bell Peppers, Chopped
2 Scallions, Chopped
1 Clove Garlic, Minced
1 3/4 Cups Chicken Broth
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
2 Cups Instant Brown Rice
Salt, As Needed To Taste

DIRECTIONS:

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter; add green pepper and scallion and saute for about 5 minutes.

Add broth and black pepper to saucepan; bring to a boil.

Stir in the rice; reduce heat and cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Uncover, fluff w/fork. Add salt, if needed. Serve.
