Caramel Corn


INGREDIENTS:

1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Cup Cashews
1 Cup Pecans
4 Quarts Popped Corn

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Over medium heat, combine first 4 ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. (Do not stir while boiling.) Remove fromheat; stir in baking soda. Stir well. Pour over popcorn mixture. Stir to coat well. Bake in large roaster or pan for 30-45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to dry.
