Sage Dressing

INGREDIENTS:

1 Pound Bread, Dried And Torn Into 1 Inch Pieces
6 Tablespoons Butter
1/4 Cup Onion, Chopped
2 Stalks Celery, Chopped
Salt, To Taste
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Marjoram
1 Teaspoon Sage
1/4 Teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
3 Eggs, Beaten

DIRECTIONS:

Melt butter. Saute onion and celery. Cover and let steam. Add to bread. Add eggs to bread mixture. Add hot broth until mixture is a pudding-like consistency. Pour into a buttered casserole. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until firm in center.
