Veal Patties Parmesan

INGREDIENTS:

1 Egg, Beaten
1/2 Slice Light Bread
3 Tablespoons Parmesan
1 Tablespoon Onion, Finely Chopped
1/4 Teaspoon Salt, `
1/8 Teaspoon Oregano, Crushed
12 Ounces Ground Veal
1/3 Cup Tomato Sauce
1/8 Teaspoon Oregano, Crushed
1/8 Teaspoon Onion Powder

DIRECTIONS:

In bowl combine egg, crumbs, Parmesan, onion, salt, 1/8 teaspoon oregano, and 1 tablespoon water. Add veal; mix well. Shape mixture into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Place patties on rack of unheated broiler pan. Broil 3 inches from heat about 10 minutes or till done, turning once. Meanwhile, in small saucepan heat together tomato sauce, 1/8 teaspoon oregano, the onion powder, and 1 tablespoon water. To serve, spoon some sauce over each patty.
