Crockpot Fried Apples

INGREDIENTS:

3 Pounds Granny Smith Apples, Peeled, Cored, And Sliced
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Dash Nutmeg
3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
1 Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Butter, Cut In Small Pieces

DIRECTIONS:

Place apple slices in the crockpot; stir in remaining ingredients and dot with the butter. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours, or until apples are tender but not mushy. Stir about halfway through cooking.

Use these apples as a topping, a filling, or alone topped with whipped cream.
