Snickerdoodles

INGREDIENTS:

1 Cup Shortening
1-1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2-3/4 Cups Flour
2 Tablespoons Cream Of Tartar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Cinnamon Sugar

DIRECTIONS:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Mold dough in small balls. Roll in cinnamon sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 450 degrees until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
